Support for Windows 7 & Server 2008 Ends Jan. 2020 - Are You Ready?
Do you still run Windows 7 on your work computers?
Do you still have Server 2008 in your network?
It's time for an upgrade! January 2020 may be a new year but it also marks the end of support for Windows 7 and Server 2008. Even if you have premier anti-virus software to protect your business’ important information, you need to consider software support. Upgrading your hardware or updating to Windows 10 is a financial commitment, you'll have to weigh the costs versus the risks.
3 Steps You Can Take Right Now:
Double Check Your Hardware Specs
- You may have enough memory or only need a simple upgrade to upgrade to Windows 10.
Check Your Software Compatibility
- If your business uses third party programs for inventory or accounting, they may have announced their end of support for Windows 7
Download the Latest Security Updates
- Making sure you have the latest versions and updates to your security software will at least offer some protection. This isn’t a perfect solution.
